Recognize that you are a sinner.

Repent of your sins.

Accept Jesus as your Savior.

First, you must admit your spiritual need. Romans 3:10 tells us: “There is none righteous, no, not one.” We can’t make excuses or blame others and our circumstances for our actions. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
The word “repent” means “to change your direction.” The Bible tells us in Acts 3:19: “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” God commands us to repent. You must be willing to turn away from the things that displease God.
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” It is essential that you come to Jesus as you are. Don’t try to “clean up your life” before you come to God. Instead, receive Him and allow Him to do the “cleansing.” Jesus said in John 6:37: “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”

If you have chosen to accept Christ as your Savior, congratulations! You have just made the best decision of your life.
